Seems to work alright, and the seal seems to be ok. The scoop supplied seems to be made cheaply - thin guage stamped steel - but does the job. The date tracker seems like a gimmick though. Although coffee snobs might find it useful, I found the mechanism clunky and rough.

Just started using the container. Seems good. Nice build. The carbon dioxide release valve looks different from the one in photos of the product. Hope it actually works. And the dials on top to record purchase date aren't really convenient and the month one is very difficult to move and the print won't stay if seems. So not really a feature. Like the built quality so far. Oh! And the measuring spoon is different too from what it looks in the photos.

My coffee powder became hard even without opening often kept in 25°c room temperature. I think stainless steel passed the cold onto the inside causing coffee powder to harden. So the spoon broke by the handle very easily when I tried to pull it out of the powder that had hardened. Model of the spoon and canister is not exactly like in the picture, and not very great by the looks in real. They sent a flashy pamphlet to apply for free stuff online when they could've sent along with the same package if they wanted to really give freebies. And the QR code redirects to nothing but a link to buy more products in the same brand.

Pros: good design, good storage for the scoop, great locking design, looks good. Cons : I put water in it to check the seal, the water started dripping out when turned upside down. I had to put a tape on the edges so that I get a proper seal to store my coffee beans.
